Problem:

Benjamin Siggers is a very different kind of tailor. Not only do they come to you , be it in your office or in your home, but they also are obsessed with their supply chain. Why? Fashion is one of the world’s most environmentally and socially impactful industries. Cotton farming, dyeing, tanning, land clearing, industrial production, poor working conditions, unfair wages, and modern day slavery are just some of the ways the industry strains the planet’s resources and those living on it. So when they founded Benjamin Siggers, they promised to do things the right way. Sustainability was always front of mind. They strive to make sure their supply chain causes no unnecessary harm to the environment or to the people that work within it.

Solution:

The brand identity is based around a modern yet timeless monogram reflecting the weave of fabric but also the interconnectedness of their decisions with consequences in the environment and on peoples lives. The story of that connection to everyone involved from farmers to factory workers was central to the brand storytelling.

Visiting the farms and the factories, talking to the workers and showing them in the communications is something that Benjamin Siggers really pride themselves in being able to do. The transparency of the brand is refreshing in the industry and goes to show that quality, company growth and accountability do not need to be mutually exclusive.
